GIFT IDEA FOR THE HOLIDAYS: PHOTO'S IN CANVAS

Posted by bleep Friday, December 10, 2010

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Art.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am so into photography these days...and I honestly consider making use of such talent for the coming gift-givings during the holiday season that is just a few weeks away. But I can't very well just give them an ordinary photo print out. I want it different. Great different. Something I myself would want to receive.

And luckily, I have found this photos {to} art. They have innumerable wonderful art works to choose from. Art.com also is great at providing professional framing and mounting. A splendid idea of making your personal photo's modern and unique, either with hand painted black edges, something like those at museum thus they call the transferred photo into canvas a "museum wrap", or you can have the photo acrylic or wood mounted. What I love most in them is the possibility of printing in large sizes as compared to competitors. I'm even thinking of having one of my photo' s taken of a wonderful view during our last trip on the beach mounted as wall mural to make it a pretend window over-looking the beach. And I bet that the receiver of such gift would also be truly delighted!

I simply have tons of ideas, and that's one more thing you would love with Art.com, "it allows you to create your own work of art" at a 20-40% lesser price as compared again with the competitors. Really pleasing, right? But the greatest incentive you get is the assurance that it will last!!! The Photographic Paper lasts 100 years at least, discoloration of image can be minimized with acid-free mats if preferred and of the highest quality you can find!

THE LOST SYMBOL

Posted by bleep Wednesday, September 29, 2010

A very promising author Dan Brown has yet again released another wonderfully written book...The Lost Symbol. His 5th most awaited book of his followers, which includes me. Actually have not yet read it BUT WILL SOON have my hands on it since the prices have already gone down (hahaha!)

After his Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, main character Robert Langdon once again is starring in this latest Dan Brown book. I have enjoyed the intriguing breaking of codes, finding clues, and symbolisms and craves to have more of those to read. Previous books were brilliantly written and so I expect for this one to be as good, or even more. It is said to be circling on the masons that I'd so love to know about. Secret societies revealed, like how the Illuminaties were introduced to me, is simply more than an entertainment.

I just have to have a copy of this...and it has to be sooner than soon!

I LOVE TO PARTY!

Posted by bleep Wednesday, September 22, 2010

One of my biggest cravings...go to a party. And not just any party, I want a masquerade party where you wear costumes or masks. It has always been one of my fantasies since childhood, to be in one with my friends and wear something really different.

I've seen them in movies but never got the chance to be in one...YET! And I plan to at least once in my life time. One time I've been browsing through and have seen varying kinds of Awesome Halloween Costumes Ideas. I guess this is one occasion that people have such opportunity of being someone else. But then I can use them in any other occasion since I don't plan on wearing gruesome costumes. I prefer being a fairy, or a princess, or a lady in medieval age...a costume to enhance my beauty and not to be ugly.

Maybe I can come up with my own party! Maybe for my birthday. Or earlier still for the coming New Year...and it will be nice to plan ahead. I'd love to hear your experiences on this. Have you ever joined such a party? What have you worn? Or have you ever hosted one? How do I go about it?

It would be greatly appreciated to hear from you...

MEET MORE PEOPLE

Posted by bleep Monday, September 13, 2010

I love people! It always makes me wonder why, but it interests me on how we all differ, in our differences in attitudes, in preferences, in our EVERYTHING. Sometimes I tend to just sit around and observe, and be happy for how each one of us were molded. That we have different exposures to life, and that we were borne to varying circumstance...but together we jive to live in one world.

Therefor, I truly enjoy meeting new friends. And I believe that dating is one of the ways to do that. This is when you get to be with another that goes to more than just saying hello. I don't care whether it is in person or in the net. I don't mind going to atheist dating, geek dating, Canadian dating or whatever dating service...because they are all people that would give me chance to get broader scope.

Don't you get curious on how one differ from you? Or how alike you can be to someone in anther part of the world? You never know...maybe you'll suddenly find the perfect mate, or the best friend you have been hoping for. Or maybe you'll get the best conversation you can ever have inyour life time here...where people join to talk.

LAND BEFORE TIME CD

Posted by bleep

I've seen this movie before and though it is a cartoon, animated...it touched my heart. It's cute positively affecting.

The story is of the dinosaur. It focused on friendship, parents, love for life and needing to belong. I find it to be next to reality with all the obstacles the friends met along the way and how they felt and dealt with them.

Right now hoping to have a copy of it again to show others.

Custom Term Papers by Ghostpapers.com

Posted by bleep Sunday, September 12, 2010

Hello fellow readers. If you are a student you would agree that a well known fact about writing term papers and essays is that it requires time and effort. It also requires a lot of reading as well as knowledge of proper referencing styles. A lesser known fact is that most students opt to order custom term papers from well known term papers writing service providers. These service providers can write persuasive essays to customized term papers for all those who seek help.

A common misconception is that these students are cheating whereas it has been clearly mentioned on the websites of most of these writing service providers that 'these papers are to be treated as model papers only and not to be submitted as your own as they are the property' of the providers.

The great thing about one such provider, www.ghostpapers.com is that it is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to help students in writing papers. The level of service provided by this company is above par and has set an industry standard of ease of use and a style of writing which serves almost all students from all walks of academic excellence and levels of study.

Some research term paper topics are beyond the capabilities of most students and they need help in choosing the right material to work with, presenting their thoughts in written text and/or simply referencing their sources. There are a few others who are not in a position to juggle their education and the jobs necessary to pay for that education. www.ghostpapers.com has helped many such students and many more for over a decade and promises to continue doing so for a very long time.

If you want to improve your grades, need help with your writing, can not choose the right topic, find the right research material or are simply unsure of the format needed to reference your paper you should visit this website right now for help and be sure that you will be always welcomed.

CHEAP CHAFING DISH

Posted by bleep Saturday, September 11, 2010

Since I am planning to start my own food business...I've been looking for cheap chafing dishes. I was surprised to see that they are being sold even at a higher cost in buy and sell sites like sulit.com.

Therefore I went window shopping in a nearby mall and saw some P1200's...half the price those people selling their used ones. Maybe they thought to mislead you into believing that you're getting a good deal since they've been placing there the price they bought it as brand new and selling half the price cheaper (or how much they think you would believe it was).

So people...be careful! The world is simply not getting any brighter these days.

Right now, am still craving for a nice, good deal for a chafing dish. Brand new or not. You know where I can find them?

KATSUDON

Posted by bleep Friday, September 3, 2010

It's not just any Katsudon that I want, but this Japanese Restaurant I love called Komoro-Soba. It's different when I take it from the other known Japanese restaurant here in the country...and today I just want the very Katsudon that I used to eat almost weekly until it closed down in Glorietta. Not sure why.

Have you ever tried it?

MANGO CREPE

Posted by bleep Saturday, August 14, 2010

I have been craving for this mango crepe for 3 whole days now. How I have loved the French Baker mango crepe but opts to have one that is topped with icecream as well.

sluuuuurrrrrrrrpppp!

I really, really have to have one this coming weekday! Wish I can have the time to finally do so!

STEAM SAUNA

Posted by bleep Saturday, July 3, 2010

It's been a couple of years already since I last enjoyed the spa. It will be so much fun to have the whole day or more to myself (or with a buddy) to detoxify.

And I've always loved the wet sauna than dry sauna. I feel the moisture opening up my pores, and after which have a wonderful body and facial scrub to rid of impurities. Or have the soothing massage that always makes me lose the whole week stress through kneading of my stiff muscles.

Steam sauna...here I come. Have you ever tried such pampering? What can you say about the heavenly feeling?

NOTEBOOK TO CARRY-ON

Posted by bleep

How I would love to have a Sony notebook to carry on with me though not needing to bring an overly sized bag!

When I go lazying around on a sunday afternoon along the mall, I sometimes sit for hours sipping my Seattles Best coffee just easing out of the daily routine. How nice it would be to be able to browse through anytime I'd like to.

And for me, it's Sony Notebook. You?

BREADELICIOUS MAKER

Posted by bleep

One of the many businesses that booms and have once passed my interest is putting up a Bakery! After all BREAD is a staple, secondary if not primary, in all homes. Definitely, a staple in ours!

But it’s not so easy baking for more than your own consumption, unless you have the means to do that. And the best I have seen so far that comes really handy with all the different kinds of bread I’d love to make, is this Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine This is a versatile machine that makes you bake ANY of your many preferences, may it be sour bread, white bread, whole wheat bread, pizza dough etc. It has two mixing blades instead of one for better kneading, a 13-hour timer to continue on working while you do your other job if you want (or even while you sleep), pre-programmed cycles for various breads for first timers and allows you to create also for your own recipe/style if you want to, capable to store 3 of your favorite recipes for “one click” and ready to go baking, PLUS it also is a machine that gives option to make your lasagna, cakes, and even other non-bake items like jams.

Now, who wouldn’t want to have their breads made at a portable oven and not at a large energy consuming oven?! Honestly, I not only crave for mouth-watering bread I see at bakeries but craves to do them myself in this magnificent oven.

SOOTHE MY ACHING BACK

Posted by bleep Sunday, June 6, 2010

How nice would it be to have a full body massage when you're all stiff from sitting in front of your PC for 8 long hours?! For me, that's heavenly.

If only I can....

Because it will take me hours to go to the nearest spa that will suit my preference of a swedish-shiatsu combination massage. Not just for the travel time but also with the preparation. And honestly, at times I get rooted on the spot when I start surfing the net.

Glad there are these wonderful creations that can somehow comes next to the "real" massage. I've seen a lot of them in the malls but nothing surpasses this back massager called "Lumbar Massager". Definitely can't stop the "ooh's and ahh's" with the relief I feel with this stress releasing back pad. Well, something to crave for don't you think?

I WANT A NEW TV!!!

Posted by bleep Friday, June 4, 2010

Yes, we have a 27-inch TV but I will gladly exchange it with a 22 inch lcd tv simply because IT'S SO, SO MUCH BETTER to have an LCD type. Not only does it have super CLEAR picture but also of the lesser electricity consumption.

Right now, what I do is to stay here on my PC than turn on our TV. I even watch my movies here. But then, desktop PC's are obviously on top of desks...and how comfortable can you be if you can watch your movie in the comfort of your couch?!

Oooh I can't wait to have one real soon. Another craving I have to fulfill... asap ;)

HEELED FLIP FLOPS

Posted by bleep Thursday, May 27, 2010

I was out window shopping just so I can extend myself being in an air-conditioned room and not conserve way too much electricity at home and freak out with the bill come due date when I suddenly have this urge to look for a real nice flip flops.

I have a lot of them but not such with heels. I love the way it makes me a little taller than my petite height plus the way my feet looks, sexier! And I tell you, it is "IN". I saw every shop having one. So much to choose from. But being the perfectionist that I am, I have this design in my mind that the stores may have not thought of yet haha. So, as always, I have to see EVERY mall possible and look for that design before I finally settle on something they offer instead.

I'm sure you're thinking you don't want to be with me whenever I shop. I know, that's why I usually shop alone. No one can stand my persistence, hahaha. Or maybe you are just like me and we can shop together?

SNOWY MOUNTAIN

Posted by bleep

It has been weeks that I have been feeling sticky and sweaty whenever I'm not in an air-conditioned room. The humidity also is extremely irritating with almost no breeze.

Yesterday, May 26, I have heard that it has been the hottest recorded...the reason probably why I can't bear to stay still. I had to run back inside the room after fetching cool glasses of water, juices and icee drinks. I can't help but crave to literally fly to a snowy mountain!

How wonderful it would be to wear layers of clothing for a change. Honestly, I almost wear next to nothing when at home. It also would be nice to sipping steaming hot chocolate's, coffee and soup instead of all these cold drinks that I do even upon rising up in the morning. I always love a cup of coffee at breakfast before, now it's unthinkable.

Wherever can I find a genie in a bottle to wish for just that...to be in a snowy mountain?! Love that scene of icecap mountains in my window, don't you?

MY LAST DAYS

Posted by bleep Tuesday, May 25, 2010

SUMMER is almost over, it being June in a few more weeks. And the moment month of June comes in...with it are the rainstorms that frequents the country. Thus comes to mind, dear friend Sendo that I can say have really MADE THE MOST OF SUMMER with all his fun-filled outings.

Just as suddenly, I felt like needing to spend as much time outside when the last few weeks I try not to with the heat and all. Beaches after beaches flashed through my mind. Where do I go first? I have to do so within the week, everyday?Every other day? At least twice a week?

O-oh, I hope I'm not running out of time. I have to check out my wardrobe...get a tan...plan the weekend getaway. NOW!!!

Funny how this LAST DAYS OF SUMMER can do to ones adrenaline, hahaha.

BLACKBERRY TO HAVE

Posted by bleep Friday, May 21, 2010

First I've heard of this magnificent creation, I'd like to have my hands on it. Though I actually have not seen it yet then, since it's just on a pocketbook I've read almost a decade ago already,I know it's a beauty.

How can you not want to have one yourself when it's as handy as it is to organize everything you need instead of pens and papers to carry along?! And being a constant roamer in the blogosphere, I simply have to have one. Likewise, am always at different social networks. A mobile and a more means to surf the net in one...what more can you ask for?

MUST HAVE WEDDING RING

Posted by bleep Wednesday, May 19, 2010

I already have a wedding ring in mind for the past decade. What do not have is a wedding to have it worn to me by my prince charming.

This has actually been brought to mind 2 days ago when my dear friend Mimi discussed with me her wedding preparations. It's not really easy to get shackled haha. It's truly costly and stressful. BUT then, this is every woman's dream. And that includes the gown you will be wearing and the ring that will be THERE forever!

Mine is the ETERNITY RING that signifies the "forever" and the "for richer" part LOL. Simply love the elegance and the beauty of it...sparkling diamonds and all (wink!)

CLASSIC MOVIE: SOMEWHERE IN TIME

Posted by bleep Friday, May 14, 2010

Now I also am in this mood for romantic movies...but not the modern day ones, but classic. And as always, it's one of my favorites SOMEWHERE IN TIME. Jane Symore and Christopher Reeve tandem that is refreshingly romantic (and clean, not vulgar like how it is these days).

Yes, it is nice to see how it was in the old days. How simple and sweet, and innocent. Do you also have such longings like me to experience life centuries ago at times?

During my blogosphere rounds, I have seen differing food...and one thing caught my pituitary glad...and it's calamari. And the moment such comes to mind, tempura goes with it. Now I am hoping I marketed for shrimps and squids instead just to satisfy this intense craving. Maybe this weekend then.

I am for Italian cuisine, but so with Japanese...and of course Filipino. Darn, I think my taste buds looks for European as well these days. Oh-kay...i think this is getting weird, the way I think like an obese obsessed with eating. Maybe it's the time of the month when my hormones are quite acting wild thus craves for FOOOOOOOOD!

BE-A-KID-AGAIN DAY

Posted by bleep

The very famous quote "Time is Gold" means a lot to me today than ever. Since I am right now wishing for even just a day being a kid again.

...when my deepest concern is what game to play today, whether to eat this food laid down before me or feel my mom's wrath, how to keep my eyes open to finish this video game without my dad saying I am sleepy already, how to keep still pretending sleep as my mom wipes me clean and it's tickling me but i really am so tired to wash in the bathroom;

...when i can eat all the fatty food I can without feeling guilty, when I need not force myself to exercise since I've been running, jumping, hopping all day, when I have summer vacations when school is out, when I don't have to wake up early when it's raining real hard and not get myself all wet commuting in that hard rain, when I only have to ask elders for that pretty dress and not save on it;

...when I can play in house of fun for hours, when I can wear ANYTHING I want without seeing raised eyebrows or inviting wiggling of them, when I can show affection to everyone without any concern or exemption;

...when I crave for candies or candies worth of goods and not cars, houses, laptops or years of working worth of goods (in short: expensive goods).

LIFE simply moves on way too fast...and we just got to enjoy and savor every minute of it. Right now, I guess I just got to enjoy the partialities for my age or in the next phase will also be wishing that I made the most of the "prime of my life" age.

NEW RED SHOES FOR MY NEW RED BAG

Posted by bleep Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Not vanity but fashion, I tell you! Just last week I was able to grab an P800 worth bag for 70% lesser price…yippee! Thanks to this 3day sale I was able to push myself amongst throes of people to.

And now, I am hoping to have a matching red shoe to complete the attire. But this is how I am with shoes, I just got to see in every store I can go into which shoe I want and is worth the price before finally settling down to the BEST AMONG THE REST. I know, I know…you wouldn’t want to be with me during shopping. Well, actually, I love to shop alone as well. I hate tagging along anybody who might not be enjoying the search as I am.

I guess this is my latest craving…a matching shoe to my bag. I wonder where to look first, any advice?

DO I HEAR WEDDING BELLS?

Posted by bleep Tuesday, May 4, 2010

Or maybe it's just in my head...

I am like this for 2 days now. I think it's an inner hope of being the one to be having my photo's taken as I prepare for "The" day...as I walk down the aisle...as I share a toast for me and my groom. Can't blame me, I'M A WOMAN! Every woman I know craves to see the day they wear their dream wedding gown, partake their wedding cake and have that dance with prince charming. I guess I can say that I really am a dreamer, haha.

This actually came about when I browsed through my friends Multiply account and saw couple after couple's wedding pre-nuptial shots and their wedding day.

Do men dream of it as well? Or it's true that they get nauseous with just the mere thought of being shackled?

HOPING TO COME UP WITH A BADGE

Posted by bleep Monday, May 3, 2010

Actually been thinking to come up with a badge...but I just can't think of a catchy but defining one. I have been neglecting on it when this good friend in the blogosphere Kayce left a message about it. "On with it Kayce... Promise to have one within the week. Thanks for the reminder."

I would love it if you would suggest for me to settle on one...

When you hear of TO CRAVE FOR or my blog in itself, what comes to mind?

would love your comment friends ;) thanks.

INSTANT CAMERA IN A CLICK

Posted by bleep Friday, April 30, 2010

It’s been a few months that I started seeing photography as something I would enjoy doing. But it would be nice to have a camera of my own. Yes, my sister assures that the camera she bought is for everybody’s use, but still…I drool over this Nikon D90 KIT AF-S DX VR 18-105 that I saw at www.happybidders.com. Imagine bidding for it at a price comfortable to you and in no time in your hands will be your most desired Canon!

I have heard of other sites doing such but there’s so many bidding along that you end up buying one at a high price as compared to happybidders.com where you can start at the lowest bid you can and just be up a notch before the bidding ends. At happy bidders you can have your dream camera, ipod, play station, blackberry, iphone…and so much more. With it unique website url of happybidders estafa, (estafa which actually can mean TWISTS, TRICK, BUBBLE…that I’m sure the site owner is trying to convey) no wonder it’s also unique to be written in Spanish (the reason for the scary word that may have been translated differently). But it is easy to understand and see the photos of what product you need, the time left to bid, how much is the last bid and how many have already entered the bidding. What I do…I have it translated at translate.google.com if ever I find it necessary. The truth is, I find it easier to grab interesting things here and it is actually so easy as explained further at happybidders.info/es. The important thing here is for you to see what happybidders have to offer NOW and not let those wonderful offers pass you by.

May it be called happybidders, happy bidders, happybidders.com, www.happybidders.com, one thing I am certain of, my camera is just a click away.

NOW CRAVING...THANKS TO A NEW FRIEND

Posted by bleep Thursday, April 29, 2010

FINALLY!!! After weeks of intense heat I can finally have coffee, it being a rainy day.

And just as timely, a very dear new friend kiki of Life included me in her friends list to be shared with a cup of steaming hot coffee. I can almost smell it from here haha.

I simply love having a cup or two daily, not until it got so hot that I decided to altogether do without it. Temporarily shifted to Ice cold chocolate drink for a time...but now, lo and behold, I can have a cup of a wonderful brew;)

May I share it with you guys:

I HAVE TO HAVE A NEW BOOK!!!

Posted by bleep Tuesday, April 27, 2010

It has been two long weeks since I finished my most recent read, Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho. I actually have just tried reading any from his, a second actually, and I still feel like going back to my favorites. He's good but maybe we're just not too much for each other, haha. He's too much of a realist for me.

Now I'm craving to have another book, a fairy tale romance if possible. Maybe this need came about after watching Cinderella just recently. Not the cartoons, mind you! And well, you can't blame a lady wishing for a fairy tale love story, if I can't have it in my life at least in another characters life. And I have an idea of which author to try this time, Sophie Kinsella. If you have seen Shopaholic the movie, then that's her. And I'm pretty sure she have more books than movies for me to continue craving for.

And you? Do you read? Any advice for a new author to try?

ROUTINE EXERCISE

Posted by bleep

I used to have routine exercise. At one time I did aerobics and another I did swimming. And all those times I don't have these flabs that I see (well, others kept telling me they don't see them...but I do!)

It's not just vanity actually but good health as well. Everybody knows that exercise helps in metabolism at the same time getting as far away from heart diseases. As of the moment, I am thinking of going with my swimming routine before, it being summer. I'm not an athlete or something but I do know strokes to be classified as a a real swimmer and not the so-called "langoy-aso" (dog-like swim) others are only capable of. Its Free style for me most of the time and breast stroke once in a while but I have to admit that you can't make me swim at any other place than the pool. Maybe it's all those movies I used to watch when I was a kid that left me traumatized with deep, dark waters. The beach is a pretty safe place but then I'd rather lay in the sand or play than burn my calories when I am there.

Routine exercise is something everyone should have. It is beneficial and it is fun. May you be doing it at home or any other place, with equipment or with none, the iportant thing is you are motivated enough to do it 3-4 times a week at least.

Being in the tropics, we do not have 4 seasons like the other countries. It's just SUMMER TIME and RAINY SEASON. Yes, there are advantages and disadvantages...

...but right now, I just wish we also have SPRING here. I love seeing those photos of different flowers and blooms (since I have not gone out of the country yet to personally see them), sights to behold and the stories from friends and relatives of the "just right" temperature. Today, we have here sizzling hot temperature of 38 degree centigrade and I can't help craving for a day out of this place and enjoy the other seasons other countries offer.

I said a day...well maybe a month, or a year. Not really forever since I know I will be missing being HOME TO MOTHERLAND. We also have nice flowers and sights here anyways ;)

MY MOST RECENT CRAVING....

Posted by bleep Monday, April 19, 2010

SLURP!
I actually am trying to be on a diet in preparation
for the december wedding of my best buddy
BUT IM NOT SURE I CAN RESIST IT ANY LONGER
I have to have one...later I will!

A NEW BUSINESS IN MIND

Posted by bleep Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I have read posts about this MOVERS that's being help by certain professionals, and I believe there is none yet here in the Philippines. Or maybe I have not seen one?

It's always a family helping each other with the packing and the moving. They just hire a container van or truck to carry everything from one place to another, just as we did 3 times already in my whole 30+ years (don't ask anymore of the PLUS, hehe).

And so with this come this nagging idea of starting up with one here in the country. But then again, how? And, will the Filipino's entertain such change or will they carry on with the tradition of doing it on their own?

Maybe what we need is information of how practical it will be...

HOW I CRAVE FOR TRAFFIC!

Posted by bleep

Nope, not on the road...but here in my blog! Who does not?!

Of course I'm just starting on with this blog but from other blogs I see around, I wish to have as many visitors and commentor's as theirs. Not just for the ranking but for the feeling of acceptance in the blogosphere. I'm happy to see that my followers are building up, THANKS TO YOU GUYS. And it never fails to brighten up my day to see new droppers in my chatbox, especially those asking for link exchange (nice to be on the other side of the road at times, right?) plus visitors that gives me much of their time and efort for a nice comment.

I have heard of this SEO's and Engines...but frankly, their alien words still to me. What I know is that they help build traffic. I click buttons form other sites and join for thei promise of more traffic in my site. Do they help really? Or it's still wiser to do the manual visitations?

Enlighten me.

STRAIGHT A'S IN SCHOOL

Posted by bleep

During my elementary and secondary school days, I still have my childhood asthma resulting to frequent absence from school. I try to catch up by borrowing school mates notes and asking for special exams and projects...but I believe that wasn't enough because I didn't get high grades. Now I hear of tutorings online and I wish it was offered even before when I badly needed it. For sure, I would have gotten straight A's though I'm not in school half the time.

Luckily, college days I was able to out grow asthma. I got beeter grades. But then again, it's the time for FUN, FUN, FUN (lol). And so, I'm still not in school half the time. Still, I was able to finish college and passed the board exams for my career. Got a very nice position in my line and right now content as to what happend in my life.

Are you as content? What of your kids? Be glad that you have a choice to have them tutored at home with online tutoring.

INCREASE SAVINGS WITH COUPONS

Posted by bleep Monday, April 12, 2010

I guess everyone delights in the idea of saving. It always comes as a challenge for me each time I have a certain something I really hope to buy and would save for it in every possible way I can.

One time, I found myself being hypnotized by this spectacular looking watch and I itch to see it in my wrist. The thing is, it's not an ordinary watch that you can get anytime you want...but something that needs a lot of time to decide about buying or not and to be on a tighter budget to afford it. It took me months of saving up, skipping my weekly movies on the theater, limiting my coffee to one instead of three at Starbucks, did a little commuting,...until finally I BOUGHT MY MOST DESIRED GUESS WATCH!

Now that I'm again planning to buy myself this stationary bike I saw in a nearby sports shop...but this time I have a better way of saving. And that's with the use of these superb coupons I get from blogging and friends in the department store I frequent. Imagine the big savings I get with the coupon for grocery items that I usually buy in a more expensive price! Even for clothes and apparels, even the books I can't stop myself from buying each time I finish the one I have with me.

I can't thank the sponsors enough for making our saving span smaller, mere weeks and not months, I can buy that stationary bike already!

I LOVE ITALIAN...

Posted by bleep Wednesday, April 7, 2010

I have always favored Continental dishes than Mediterranean whenever I go out, and Italian Dishes are appreciated more than any other...well, aside from Filipino Cuisine of course, that being my native land.

But whenever I cook at home I try to serve differently each time. If I can make it one country after another cycle in a weeks time I would. And the secret lies in the seasonings, herbs and spices available in the market that gives you the distinct taste of a certain countries cuisine. Like the basil, thyme, rosemarie for continental; and curry, taragon, cumin for mediterranean. Filipino dishes are the easiest to cook since I can have the necessary salt free herbs and spices available just around the corner.

How easy it is to cook these days than before, with all the commercialized ready-to-cook meals or the sauces and mixes available to go along with our fast paced life. Well, cooking is art and I'm sure we can have the colors we want to come up with the splendid canvass (or food for this matter!)

GETTING SICK IS NOT ALLOWED

Posted by bleep

It is known by all that it is getting harder to live by in this world we live in. Economic crisis is felt by everyone, rich or poor, with all the monetary constraints we have to deal with. And it is commonly heard in Philippine Media "BAWAL MAGKASAKIT!" ("Getting sick, not allowed!") simply because the daily familial budget is often just enough for necessity. And medications or hospitalizations that comes in the most inopportune time gives too much of a stress and at times cannot be solved resulting to death in a family.

We hear it from the news all the time, and each time I thank my mom for continuing on with the family health insurance where in we can consult physicians without needing to put out a lot of money that other do in times of illnesses (or accidents for some). It is beneficial for all to be sure, to be insured!

Insurance quotes are not just for health benefits, they even have it for death, education, car...and so many more that YOU might not be aware of and needing.

RECHARGEABLE FAN

Posted by bleep

Routine brown out is a pest we have to bear with. Though it is done with the good intention of saving power and energy, it still is irritating especially since it is SUMMER...when you most needed to cool down indoors. If only the government thought of doing this way ahead, when people loves the temperature even without the help of electricity. Imagine being at 36 degrees Celsius with no fan, and no air conditioner!

Earlier the moment the lights went out, one thing flashed through my mind, our rechargeable lamp and remembered the one we had before a rechargeable lamp and fan in one. How I need to find one again! Or better yet, if only I can, have a generator installed to be free of any power interruption.

ENERGIZE WITH SUPPLEMENTS

Posted by bleep

Yes we are in such a fast pace of life and with it is the faster pace of us gulping down food disregarding nutritional needs most of the time but just satisfying hunger.

No wonder there are increasing rate of malnutrition, either over or under. Over in the sense that people gains weight due to intake of fatty foods, fast foods the most common culprit. We take in saturated fats, or bad fats, coming from meat and dairy products from burgers and ice creams. And under because we do not eat properly with all the workload we need to accomplish believing that the 24 hours is not enough for us to even have the time to savor eating, or at times even forgo eating.

Unknowingly, we are putting ourselves at risk to sickness thus losing more of what we wanted to have. Losing the time to meet the deadline, losing the salary we should be saving for the medications or even hospitalizations...we are losing energy. We have to outsmart those workloads. Give priority to your health. It's Time Management you have to learn and eating should be within that and not just an extra activity. Take in Vitamin Supplements for back-up nutrition that you might not be supplying yourself.

RECHARGE WITH CAMPING

Posted by bleep Friday, April 2, 2010

Summer is here, spring is there! Best seasons to go outdoors and relieve yourself of that daily routine of stress. Break the home-work-home-work sequence and detour to the fun and enjoyment of camping.

I have always appreciated nature. And experiencing life closest to it is the best one can do in appreciating being part of an ecosystem. Imagine yourself waking up with the sounds of birds singing and the breeze tickling the trees above you instead of traffic, the computer buzz or the chatter of people around you.

Go outdoor and live life as the creator designed you to do so and you'll see how wonderful it is in recharging your emptying inner energy.

WANT A DAY IN A HOTEL?

Posted by bleep

I do! Especially if it will cater to my most needed beauty leisure in a spa. It's been ages since I last had a whole body salt scrub that takes away dead cells and exfoliates my skin polluted in the city with dusts, smoke and beauty products. It would be heavenly also to have the swedish-shiatsu combo massage I used to have to soothe away every tired sinews of my body.

Being in a hotel is like living as Queen in one's kingdom. Almost all your needs will be attended to: the much needed rest, good food, relaxing atmosphere and with their offered amenities you can also divulge into your favorite sport. Either swimming, tennis, golf, bowling, billiards, the gym or whatever else they offer that matches your preference like ballroom dancing or simply lounging in their bar for music.

It will be heavenly to complete your vacation itinerary with a stay in world class hotels. I definitely will do so if I have the means. Would you?

FREEDOM FROM ADDICTION

Posted by bleep Sunday, March 28, 2010

Being in a world filled with stress, it is not surprising that people tend to escape heartaches and failures with even temporary relief to forget and ease the burden a little. Though more often than not the path to that is not even perceived until almost half way there. Believing that "occasional" drink here and there is TOTALLY harmless, the individual becomes in denial of possible "habitual occasional" drinking (puffing or popping up as well) thus ending up in being completely hooked with the intake. Most even starts with the reason of ONLY for socializing purposes and in the long run becomes addicted. To the point of they themselves wanting to get out but then they cannot any more. Or not easily.

At this point, normalcy of life is being craved for. Not just by the individual but also of their love ones. Life is more than just affected, it comes close to being lost. It is fortunate that with increasing number of incidences, people with big hearts extends their helping hand. Institutions are now available to assist individuals in gaining back their lost footing. Guidance and care are provided in areas you wouldn't believe to have unusual living; magnificent places, knowledgeable professionals and advance facilities made available for the comfort of the occupants.

You can re-live your life. You can once again be who you were before all these. Achieve freedom from addiction and love life once again.

HAVE A DRAMATIC CHANGE

Posted by bleep

There were times that I look in the mirror with a thought in my head, "What if I have a change in my appearance?"

Like when I was in my 2nd year at work decades ago and being the same ol' me that my colleagues known me to be. I suddenly feel bored with how I look; that somehow I wanted to feel the welcome they gave me on my first day, a new intriguing person to know. And so, i decided to cut my waist length hair to a stylish layered shoulder length and added a magnificent looking glasses. I was really thrilled with how it turned out. And the moment I opened the main door to our domain, I heard praises as heavenly as "Lois Lane?"

Am I glad for that decision as I was next time I got bored again and sported a really short hair. With it went a brand new looking glasses again. They really make wonders, and I tell you...TRY IT AS I DID and be rewarded with delightful notices from acquaintances and none acquaintances.

LAPTOP...WISH I HAVE ONE

Posted by bleep

I was visiting back friends when I came across this post from Useful Information about New Sony VIAO E series laptops that made me drool. I left a comment admitting to my craving to have a laptop of my own. I truly hope to have one someday, and none less satisfactory than what was said about New Sony VIAO E series.

Of course it is mighty blessed of me to have this PC already but laptops are really cool. Imagine carrying it around and being able to blog wherever you are?! And now that Wifi site's can be found in many places already around the country, it will be very fortunate for one to have this wonderful breakthrough...a computer you can carry around - LAPTOP!

MATCH MAKERS ARE HOPELESS ROMANTICS

Posted by bleep Thursday, March 25, 2010

I firmly believe that those people who just can’t stop match making are simply hopeless romantics. It’s like they are feeling the need to find the right man and the right woman and just could not resist paving a way for them to be together.

I have a romantic soul myself, but I guess I’m not as selfless as these match makers to put up much time in joining to people together. It is obviously their joy to succeed in finding other people’s soul mate, best match or possible mates.

I have seen a movie like this before (Hitch, if you have seen it you’ll agree with me that it is nice indeed) and almost could not believe that this can happen in real life. That someone loves to do this thing at the same time earns his keep to do more. Well, now I have heard that there are even sites on line that also offers help with the same goal. Online dating are becoming more and more famous, and this is a way to meet more possible mates that matches your criteria. Of course no one can guarantee that knowing people will give you a definite positive result in finally having the relationship you’ve been hoping for. But giving your self a greater chance of finding Mr. Right (or Ms. Right for that matter) is the very first step to that possibility.

WHO DOES NOT LOVE PIZZA

Posted by bleep Wednesday, March 24, 2010

I have not known a single individual to despise pizza. Seems like everybody do love pizza! And I for one is a pizza lover. So much so that every time I am out, I crave to have one; either to at least taste a slice or eat half the pan of eight slices.

And it is a dream for me to be able to taste ALL pizza flavors all over the world. Thin slices please! In our country I can say that I have tried most, if not all flavors of different pizza parlors. Number one topping not be taken out of my pizza is Mozzarella Cheese. Prefers to have pepperoni and green peppers, but would rather not have anchovies.

Now I’m craving again. If it weren’t midnight here, I would love to have one right now. Tomorrow then!

JOIN A CRUISE

Posted by bleep

One of my college friends is a daughter to a retired BIR Commissioner. And now that almost all of her and her siblings are in Canada, their parents are out traveling around the world enjoying. What a way to finally have the much needed “break”. But I believe that we don’t need to grow old to do that. What if we don’t ever grow old or reach that day when we are done with our responsibilities?

Why not believe that you deserve a treat for being the best that you are? Or a well-deserved present to your better half? Oh how I would love to be where that couple is right now…imagine, a delightful cruise?! Seize the day and live your life as you should. As they say, “Do so if able!”

If there are obese, overweight or over nourished individuals, there also are under nourished. But it is a lot easier to gain than to lose, unless there are clinical problems involve like thyroid problems that increases metabolism, mechanical problems and diseases that hinders absorption. Otherwise, it is as simple as FILLING UP with high, calorie dense food and beverages.

It is understandable that in this fast pace of life we live by, we often miss a meal or two. It even is highly possible that due to so much work to do, we sacrifice nutritious meals to help our body cope up with the stress and activities we go through daily with easy to eat snacks. We just “grab a bite” most of the time just to deal with the hunger pangs but do not actually put on the supposed calorie for the day, therefore, insufficient for us to reach the desired body weight or healthy weight.

What has to be done is to think of ways to increase the calories though with almost the same number of minutes allotted to partake of the food. Some examples of which are adding a slice of cheese and veggies to your usual egg sandwich, putting in milk in your fruit juice, or adding chicken slices in your salad. It’s more like “in addition” to your usual preference. But then, of course it will need a little more extra time if you are the one preparing it. Glad to tell you though that with the obvious technological advancements, it is then a proof of man’s ever increasing knowledge. And now, we have COMPLETE NUTRITION available in one drink, one pack of biscuit, so on and so forth. They are called MEAL REPLACEMENT. They are calorie dense meal substitutes available for you who are caught up in the hectic world we live in. It can actually be a sole source of nutrition being complete, or can be added also with previously preferred food items. And there's so much to compare and choose from already.

Now, you can never be hungry! And that you will be nourished in just a few minutes.

SADLY ALLERGIC TO DOGS

Posted by bleep Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Just as I am allergic to dust, I am also allergic to dogs. Dog hairs and their very scent! I used to have childhood asthma but out grew them, unfortunately the allergy to it stayed. I envy those who can play with their pet dogs, dress them up and show them off to friends. Another concern is the changing times, of how much house owners benefit from guard dogs. I was thinking about this lately, until I’ve seen the movie Mission Impossible again yesterday and noticed that unbelievable security system they breached where even the temperature in the protected room is being monitored. But what tickled my interest in alarm system is the voice and eye check one had to go through. ALARM SYSTEM! Yes, that is probably what I need, though not as magnanimous as that in M.I. I’ve heard of these but do not actually given it much of a thought before. With this, I can have security at home though I don’t have a dog to bark.

Technology boost really is mighty splendid!

ASSISTING YOU TO EAT LESS

Posted by bleep

In connection to the last 2 posts, people have their own weaknesses! And if EATING is your weakness and it’s the only hindrance to your achieving your goal of living your dream of reaching that desired body weight…then THAT IS WHERE YOU SHOULD FOCUS, the very root cause of your problem. In so saying, in solving every problem and in curing any disease you have to target the root cause. Yours will be EATING TOO MUCH.

I have seen obese patients severely affected with their body weight and total persona that have developed psychological disorder because of it. Some remains sane but still emotionally disturbed thus likewise unstable. One may simply be bothered by it, but came out to be insecure, a resolved recluse, fear of the society…pointing to one conclusion: unhappiness.

We all deserve to be happy and so it is but right for us to find ways to be happy. What to do now? Again, KNOW YOUR PROBLEM AND IT’S ROOT CAUSE. Here it’s obviously obesity due to overeating. Advised action you may not be aware of that is being done by many people already and has time and again proven safe and effective is Bariatric Surgery. With this you will be able to take your fill and eat as much as your stomach will allow you. Thus now you can definitely have control because of the feeling of fullness you will not want to have more; equally, you will be losing the weight you have been forever hoping to lose effecting change not only in your body but also in your perspective as people accepts you more and more back into their circle.

Your dream is within your reach…but the decision would have to be done after thinking it over not just once, twice, but thrice because this time you will be undergoing surgery. Though proven safe, surgery nonetheless that gives the body physiologic stress and would need time and adjustment. If you believe this to be minor as compared to what you are going through half of your life being fat or obese and being shunned by the society you have to live with…then by all means let the wheels go in motion!

GREATER SLIMMING OPTIONS

Posted by bleep

That last post about sweets made me think more seriously about weight loss, and the frustration that I believe to be felt by most as well for not accomplishing the goal of achieving the right weight. Either because you are off to work or preparing for it at five o’clock in the morning (or even earlier) and be home by nine o’clock in the evening leaving you less than an hour to clean up, eat and let the food digest a little before having your nightcap for the much needed 7-8 hours sleep; or you have a physiologic incapacity to go jogging, participate in aerobic exercise, Taebo or whatever exercise routine you believe to be affecting weight loss; or just plain and simply not an exercise person. Parallel to this will be following the strict diet pattern your dietitian gives you that you cannot stop promising yourself that “tomorrow I will truly adhere to it”.

Why go into such torture and sacrifice when others get to attain their goal easily with the help of other SLIMMING OPTIONS founded for this reason: be happy and content and still shed excess weight and reach desired body weight.

It is just a matter of choosing which product and which company to trust and assure you. There are SLIMMING TEA’S, SLIMMING CAPSULES, SLIMMING CREAMS, SLIMMING BEVERAGES…etcetera, etcetera. Review their products and see what most fits you and achieve that goal in no time…and no sweat!

SWEET TOOTH

Posted by bleep Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Sweet tooth me is having difficulty resisting the urge to have my dessert at Sugar House upon seeing their mouth watering cakes. I feel my legs taking me inside each time I pass and see from their glass counter cakes and pastries begging me to bite them. I can almost feel the creamy taste melting in my mouth now. The aroma of coffee and cake combination will undo whatever resistance I have each time.

Thank God I'm gifted with a small frame and not so many fat cells, because if not, I definitely will be looking like our refrigerator in no time. But this does not stop me from limiting and do a stronger hold of my urge by trying not to pass through Sugar House.

Yes, it is alright to have some to satisfy a craving. Not "some everyday", but just "some as treat". Especially since I have a family history of Diabetes, I am more prone to having one as well. And being single, I don't want to end up losing my curves which I know men values still. Thus, with exercise, I try to shed off the calories I take and a little more of that exercise in case I decided to take a treat of a slice of those heavenly cakes! It is just a matter of taking full responsibility. DO NOT CONTROL THOSE CRAVINGS BUT MANAGE THEM so as to avoid rebellion and taking too much with overly wanting it. We know ourselves better than anyone else and so we can tell at which point we have to give in to a craving. HAVE SOME and DO NOT DENY YOURSELF OF THE DELIGHT OF SUCH GOODNESS!

DROOL OVER MERCEDES BENZ

Posted by bleep

Driving a long the Highway, it always makes me drool whenever I see an MB pass me by. I love the black or gray or chrome with light tint color. Very elegant. I can't help but imagine myself in it and as I pull-out of this salivating baby, I see myself with an attache case, dressed in fine corporate attire and door being held by the concierge. POOF! Dream has to end with a blast of horn.

Of course, it is not surprising for anyone to crave to have such a magnificent looking car. and MB has been with us for ages. Even in a row of vintage cars, you won't miss the spot where it stand gleaming, proud. I believe it's not just the exterior but the interior as well of every model is magnificently made. And it even gets better with the parts. It will definitely not let you down when it comes to QUALITY! It is one of the bests in the history of cars!

Can anyone attest to that? You among the lucky owners of my dream car?

HAVE AN E-LIBRARY

Posted by bleep

I love to read...and my mom is at losing ends not knowing where to put my stack of books already. Filled are my book cases (inside and outside my room), should-have-been-cupboards, "under's"like under the bed, under the table, under the sink; our house can be called a library almost. BUT I just don't have the heart to part with books that I still read over and over.

Well, until I learned about acquiring a copy inside my pc. HOW NEAT CAN THAT BE!!! I'm sure my mom will love me even more when I tell her about this E-book. All I need to do is to click and search then download and save. Then I'll have my very own E-Library!

Decades ago it's just snail mails that takes forever to reach it's destination and back for the reply. But now, it's mere seconds for you to have an answer to an urgent message.

And so there is NO reason at all for you to say you have communication gap with your relatives or friends. Bridge that gap with your mobile. And it's so easy to have one these days even at a cheap cost. And because mobile networks understood that need as well is offering a great number of plans and even with free mobile phones. Grab these superb chance and be in constant communication with love ones.

OUR NEED FOR FASHION

Posted by bleep

It is has been since the first man and woman that body protection and covering had been founded. If before it has been a "need" to have something on, now it's more than that...because now it also is for the "want". Clothing and dressing up evolved through time; from materials to styles.

Fashion came through and people from every corner of the globe have their own trends and craze. Not only the city folks have certain "norms of the society" to follow. Even the natives in tribes have their own to consider. It may not be ALL the same in every part of the globe, but certainly everyone has it. And we go along with it if we consider ourselves a part of that group, tribe, cluster, clan, society, norm or whatever you call the circle you are in.

In our generation, fashion is more likely being adapted in the cities all over from country to country since trends are almost carried through the wind. With the technological advancement, word travels so fast that it can be passed on in a snap. With fashion cultural differences are almost insignificant. At times, even the climate differences do not matter. May the country have four seasons or two, boots are being used. May it be snowing or just raining trench coats are being worn. People simply want to try and be part of the latest fashion.

Every activity have certain "in" things, or trendy outfits and gears. Camping shoes, summer look, hiking attire, sporty apparel...name it, you have it. And it is normally just part of living. So why not if you can afford to. One just have to be smart shopper.

MODERN LIVING

Posted by bleep

I have always dreamed of having a nice place to go home to…and nothing nicer but my dream house. My dream, a modern way of living with a magnificent pool to splash away the heat of the day or dip in at balmy nights. It actually need not be a gigantic place but a place to call my own. A place I designed or agreed with, with landscapes to drool over and a kitchen to die for. I definitely would love modern furniture than old-fashioned antiques.

Imagine the magnificent view from a far where you see not a cold structure, but an inviting place one would utter "home sweet home"; with blossoms and greens; tranquility of the sound of water; scent of freshness. And as you walk in, you see capturing speak and clean white's and metals. Around will be superb big and small equipment and things you see fit. Plush sofa's and coaches, entertainment system to widen your eyes...BUT there is warmth and comfort with the presence of individuality of those residing. In my mind I picture the cozy receiving area beside the pool, the femininity of the master’s bedroom and the adjoining bathroom and walk in closet.

Life can be so much fun to live...if you can only live your dream.
